Hope all is well. Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that today I finally met up with Lois and we had a great time chatting about the old days. I visted her at her home in New City. . It was a beautiful day and we ended up taking a long walk through a park with waterfalls. Never had that in Queens Seems like we never lost touch. How is St Louis? Have you adjusted? Keep in touch. Well first off my cousins:
Steve is Married - 3 sons and 2 grandchildren - lives in Niceville Florida - works for Lochheed as a tech Rep
Michael is divorced and lives in Austin Texas 2 kids and 1 grandchild ( i think) - works for Grumman Aerospace
Sharon is Married - 2 kids 1 in college the other still in HS - Lives on Long Island - works for a Major Catering/Banquet firm
As for Jeff, last i heard he was in North or South Carolina in the clothing or car sales industry.Moves around alot 1 son and i think divorced
As for me, I live in Grove City Ohio. I retired from the Air Force in 1998 where i worked Tactical Aircraft Maintenace in various positions within the career field.
I was married but got divorced in 2001 and had 2 kids Stephanie now 27 and Clint now 23. I now work at a priavte school as a maintenace technician. My parents Jerry and Phyllis live here also after 24 years out west in Albuquerque Nwe Mexico and Las Vegas Nevada. I keep in touch with Anthony(Moose) all the time and he keeps me updated on the old gang when he can.A matter a fact he just became a father again at 49 can you believe it? He lives in Pleasantville New York. Keep in touch, Oh and by the way, yes we had a lot of laughs down there. Believe it or not we took a trip to new york last June and the old clubhouse is still there. Mr Metski locked it years ago but allowed us to go in. It was like opening a time capsule. All the beer bottles and cigarette boxes were still there.Do you remember the stickball games we had and playin the line for the football Vleigh Place hawks?
Take care Al and write back soon
Dennis
How are you? Great to hear from you - its funny I was just talking about you to remember Lois Amigo? She asked if I heard from you - I told her not in a very long time. How is everyone. Sharon is great she got married 23 yrs ago and has a son who is 14 and 6'3" he of course plays basketball and attens Holy Trinity in Hicksville. I am stil single. My dad passed away 24 years ago and my mom is doing OK. How is St.Louis, last I heard you were married and I believe you lived in Lindenhurst. Keep in touch would love to hear from you. Ilisa
Thanks for thinking of my uncle Morty. Unfortunately he's not doing too well. He is in a Florida nursing home suffering from complications of diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and kidney problems. They had to amputate one leg and a few toes on the other. He's trying to keep his spirits up. Will remind him of the strip club signs the next time I speak to him. That's where I spent New Year's Eve on 12/31/76 and it still ranks as my best New Year's Eve ever!
Don't know if you had a chance to read some of the other threads but Mitch Schorr is also in an adult home in Queens. I had some business in Queens a couple of months ago and took him out for lunch. First time seeing him in over thirty years. Very sad story.
Always remembered how artistic you were. Glad to see that its been good to you.
