- About Me:
- I left in 4th grade and my parents sent me to Garden Country Day School in Jackson Heights. I still spent most of my free time playing stickball or fungo in the PS 164 schoolyard. I remember missing PS 164 because my Aunt Lois Rothburd worked there and my Grandma Schenkman who was a Kindergarten aide. I used to ask Mrs. Sachs to go to the bathroom, and sneak some candy from grandma. It was also the school that introduced me to yoga. I believe it was Mrs. Richio if I spelled her name correctly.
I live the Catskills where I am a teacher of History, writer, and part time firefighter. The first of three books, that I have written, will be published this year, just in time for my wedding. I would love to reconnect with many of you who made my childhood very memorable. My God the hometown has changed! -Peace, Adam

Just a thought-shouldn't you be listed under the "Class of 1981". I am almost sure that we were in the same class. It's obviously not important but I just noticed that.

Great to hear from you. This is totally weird seeing all these names. I remember you came camping that time. Bonnie probably has pics somewhere. I still talk to Bonnie. I don't see her much as I don't come up to NY very often.

I was sorry to hear about your Mom passsing...I remember her being very sweet. It took me a while but finally made it onto the site- glad to hear you're doing well and congrats on the upcoming wedding.
As far as our classmates that you asked about... Philip Joseph changed his last name to Buckman as his mom remarried. He also left PS 164 in the 3rd or 4th grade. He is in California and became a musician and an actor and has done quite well-Google him for more details. Christine Duffy is married with a child and living in Chicago. Mindy Weinstein I hear is also married with two children (maybe three) and living in NJ. I vaguely remember Alan but not sure of his whereabouts. I remember you had a neighbor that I was also friendly with-his name was Aleandro. Do you know what he's up to? So what type of books do you write? It's great that your to be published. I'll try to get some pics loaded onto the site of me and the family. Good hearing from you
