Lily -- If I only knew. I thought all the girls had a crush on either George Laskaris, Jeff Schaefer or the pop sensation Shaun Cassidy. But I do remember the time I was almost crushed by Mrs. Glaubman. I was running around the classroom (upset about a grade she had given me) and she somehow managed to trap me between her legs in the corner by her desk. Very scary.

Adam -- I remember you and Peter lived near that steep hill that cars weren't allowed down. But It was good for sledding. I used to deliver Newsday to your mom. My folks moved out of Queens in the 80s. So I haven't been back to the old neighborhood many years.

Helen -- Jeff is doing well. He's the head of pediatric oncology at Children's National Hospital in DC. He has a wife, two kids and two beagles. I don't think he's in touch with any of your classmates. However, we did learn that Edward Newman (who was in your class for a couple of years) passed away recently. Don't know the cause.
