About Me:: I graduated P.S.164 in 1975 and moved to Fair Lawn, N.J. for the next 6 years of my life/schooling. Suburban life in N.J. was quite a culture shock after growing up in Kew Gardens Hills! After high school, I attended the University of Pennsylvania, where I earned a B.A. in Communications. I worked for three years in the communications industry, got married, and then went back to school to get a Master's Degree in Social Work. Never used the MSW, however. Got pregnant towards the completion of my degree and became a stay-at-home-mother to two girls and a boy. It's the best job of all! I love it! My girls are 17 and almost 14. My son is almost 11. My hobbies are antique collecting, decorating, cooking up a storm, entertaining, Israeli folkdancing twice a week (it's how I met my husband!), and exercising at the gym, 6 days a week. I'm one busy gal! I have the fondest memories of P.S.164 and of my childhood in Queens. Although the Philadelphia area has been my home since I came here for college, my roots will always be firmly planted in NY. I go back, every few years, and walk along Main Street, visit my old house and neighbors (those who remain!), and dine in the local eateries. Last June, I actually walked into P.S.164 and asked if I could walk around the school. They gave me a lovely and talkative chaperone who was also an alumna. She and I had a great time reminiscing, and she actually put me in touch with my good ole kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Beverly Alexander. I'd love to hear from anyone who remembers me from the old days. I still remember so many of you!

How have you and your family been? Sorry I haven't written. I need to hit the Lotto, so I wouldn't need to work and would have a lot of free time. LOL. like have no free time.I am so happy that I had the day off from work. I am able to catch up on my emails and phone calls. I am definately going to the reunion, I just need to send the money in soon. Yes in a way my daughter's like having the same Birthday and in a way they don't. We celebrate their Birtdays' together with one cake with both names. What's the difference. They only care about their presents. LOL. The only thing that bothers them is that a lot of people will say Merry Christmas or Happy Channakah when they get their Birthday presents and will get one gift instead of two. In a way they get ripped off because if their Birthdays were a few months after the holidays they would get presents. But that's OK, I give them a lot of gifts to make up for the others. How are you handling the cold? I can't stand it. You can leave me on a beach in the Caribbean and I'll be happy! On Valentine's Day my husband took me to a nice restaurant in Flushing called Dantes. We got engaged there. Another few months to the reunion. I'm looking forward to seeing you there. Time is flying.

I do remember most of my sister's friends. You are blessed with a good memory. My mom had three Volkswagen Beetles and yes we had a grand piano. We really don't do any activities on the Main Line so I think it's just coincidence that they look familiar. Speaking of familiar, the Frank Lloyd Wright design is our vacation home....Falling Water!

Happy Channukah! Hope all is well with your family. Congratulations on your 20th anniversay .You are so lucky to go to Hawaii. One of these days I would love to go there. How are the kids enjoying their new schools? For Thanksgiving I went to Florida for a week to stay at my brothers house with my older daughter. We had a great time and the weather was great. Had to come back to this cold nasty weather. Today are both of my daughters Birthdays. I'm going to take them out for dinner tonight. Before you know it the reunion will be here. I'm at work now. It is time for me to go to lunch. Keep in touch.
