AVIVA ~ MY GOD, HOW YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR MOM! THAT'S A BIG COMPLIMENT BECAUSE YOUR MOM IS A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, A REAL LOOKER. UNFORTUNATELY, EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY ARE ALL GONE BUT ME. MY DAD DIED IN 1987, MY GRANDMA SADIE DIED NOT TOO MUCH LATER, MY BROTHER FRED DIED OF AIDS AT 42 IN 1993, AND MY MOM DIED RECENTLY, JAN. 2008. I AM MARRIED VERY HAPPILY (FOR THE THIRD TIME!), AND I HAVE A 13 YEAR OLD SON. I HAVE BEEN ILL WITH PROGRESSIVE SUPRANUCLEAR PALSY WHICH HAS LEFT ME WITH A MYRIAD OF PROBLEMS INCLUDING THE INABILITY TO WALK AND TALK. OH, IT HAS JUST MADE ME STRONGER. JUST FOUND THIS SUCKER!!!!!!!

AND NOW, DUE TO THE FACT THAT I SUFFER FROM PROGRESSIVE SUPRANUCLEAR PALSY, I DO NOT HAVE THE WHEREWITHAL TO RECREATE THE EMAIL. I DO NOT HAVE THE STRENGTH TO TELL YOU THE NATURE OF THE DEATHS OF EACH OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS, EXCEPT TO TELL YOU THE ORDER IN WHICH THEY PASSED: MY DAD DIED IN 1987, FOLLOWED NOT TOO MUCH LATER BY MY GRANDMA SADIE, THEN BROTHER FRED DIED OF AIDS IN 1993 AT 42 YEARS OLD, AND FINALLY MY MOM DIED RECENTLY, JAN. 2008, FROM OVARIAN CANCER. I KNOW THIS IS SOUNDING GLUM. SO I WILL END IT QUICKLY. BEFORE I DO, I WANT TO TELL YOU THAT YOU, AND YOUR FAMILY, ARE A VERY IMORTANT PART OF MY PAST. Hi Aviva, I went to camp with your sister and your mom was the camp nurse. I remember that your sister married a Perlmutter who I also grew up with. Can you put me in touch with your sister. Hope you are all well. Best wishes, Karen

Senor Jeff... just got turned on to this site by my brother ... what a surprise .. to say the least ... I live in a small mtn village in Copan, Honduras. We have a couple of small hotels that cater to tourists, I am married to a lovely Honduran, Angela and we have 1 son. Any info on members of our class is welcome. I lived on Main St and Union Tpke across the street from Joey Sobel, as well my neighbor Tony Conti, Joey Groom, cant remember the rest. I see there are a few from our class participating on this site .. any news would be fun ... Howard

You have an amazing memory. I do remember all of those things you were able to recall. Where did you go to High School? I know you went to Campbell, and I went to Parsons (what an awful place). I then went on to Hillcrest High School.

Do your parents still live in the same house? The neighborhood has certainly changed over the years.

Hey Aviva, Thanks for touching base. Life with the twins good but challenging. They are a handful. Anyway, I did move to the house on 78th Road sometime during elementary school from our first home on 70th Avenue.
Therefore, I went to Jamaica HS. I think the rest of you guys went to Campbell. I heard they are doing a reunion next year. What do ya think? I'm planing on attending and hoping Lynne can fly in from LA.

I am in Westcheser and I am married for 22 years to Mark and have 11 year old twins Jake and Austin. Think we can get Joey, Carrie and Alice Goldstein to come to the website????Where are you ? hows your mom? I still remember your house down the block from Moo and Brew. Weren't you in ICG with me. WOW!

Forgot to mention that David Neumann's youngest brother Ed died recently. Really sad. Didn't give a cause of death. David's father was one of my pediatricians. Still remember his Bar Mitzvah celebration in their then new house in Great Neck!
