so great to hear from you. I do remember those great days in Queens. My email address is Bizzycohen@msn.com and would enjoy catching up with you.

I'm watching a tribute to Paul Simon on PBS right now and as I watch/listen, I've googled Belle Simon, and came up with Paul's bio. His address was listed in Kew Garden Hills, though they got it wrong and wrote it as Forest Hills, but what really got me was the Mrs. Simon passed on only a year and a half ago. I was telling my husband she was old way back when.....also, PS 164 was mentioned, as the school he attended. Just thought I'd share with someone who can identify with my own memories, though we were very young and I can't speak for you, but I really had no idea in 1st and 3rd grades, who Paul Simon was...alright, enough for now...take care...Adrienne
Yes, I think they made us hold hands....you're right...and you may very well have seen me at the library at QC. I'm in the 15 yr program. My son asked me if he's going to finish college before me. At this point, because I have so much going on in my life, I'm going to finish my MA in 2 more years (hopefully), for mere personal gratification. I mentioned to my brother about this 164 thing and he is very interested. He's friends with Vivian Strauss's brother, Jeff, among others. Alright, I have to run. Happy Holidays!
Enjoy your family!
Adrienne
How have you been? And do you remember me? Considering we were probably the two shortest people in the class, which meant we probably always lined up next to each other, I would imagine you do. I didn't stay through sixth grade; fourth was my last. I wore these god-aweful granny glasses and I think we went to Hebrew School together, too, before I discovered the concept of cutting. Anyway, I look forward to hearing back from you. Take care. And have a wonderful holiday season.

How have you been? How's the Old South treating you? I have a good friend from grad school who teaches at U of Montevallo and lives in B'ham (I visit him every summer--10 years this summer), and another one, a soon-to-be Ph.D. historian and his wife who got a job at UA-Huntsville. Maybe I'll find a job in your great state? An interesting place.
What have you been working on lately? Say hello to your parents and Sheldon for me. I occasionally get back to the old n'hood (4x/year) to visit my mother and the few amigos who still live there. The neighborhood has really changed! Take care.

It's a small world and I work with someone from the old neighborhood named Andrew Wexler. He was probably closer to your age and I didnt know him growing up. He says you guys hung out a lot. Tell Sheldon I say as well, cant believe we couldn't maintain that small yard and kept him employed all those years.
All is well here. Married, got a 3 year daughter and live in North Flushing/ Whitestone. I think of you every Feb when spring training starts and you got your shot with the Orioles. And of course, thanks for helping me with the QC English exam when you were my tuter.
Thanks for the email. I'm pretty good! I've lived here, by the Jersey Shore, for the last 20 years. I really like it except that like all of NJ, the taxes are brutal. Whenever I go to my parents house I always think of our games! They were a blast!
