Well now you have both Kasch sisters writing to you! hee. One from the east coast and one from the west (I live in LA).
Of course your fabulous mom's name is Marsha! I always remembered how wonderful and "tolerant" she seemed to be with you and Stacie ..and all the "sister" DRAMA at your house! hee. However, I also remember when she got angry WE ALL RAN FOR COVER! hee . Loved her! And, the one thing that I remember the most about you is, everynight, when you sat down for dinner with your family, I used to check your back window (in the alley) and look for the food that you threw out the window! Remember that! I think it was those horrible peas and carrots that you hated so much! hee. I also remember your beautiful long blonde hair and your mischievous personality! How about the Good Humor truck (and Italian ices that used to turn out tonuges all shades of red, blue, etc!)and TONY driving down our block every day in the summer! "Wanna go higher! "
What a great time on 70 th avenue, huh!
Not to mention the famous blackout and how we all sat outside on the street with candles eating macaroni and cheese. Oh, and what about walking to the deli and buying bbq potatoes chips..and garlic potatoe chip! Yes, I remember lots of the food experiences and I grew up to be a BIG FOODIE myself.
Hope all is well with you and look forward to hearing from you.
By the way, am I crazy or did you have a younger brother too?
Lynne Kasch-Gordon
