I remember some of my classmates (not too many).....I think I only had one birthday party when I was younger (if you call it that) and you were invited to my apartment--we played on pogo sticks. I think Donna Devaney was also there (but I really have a lousy memory-so I can be totally off!!)-I think I was allowed to invite one person and my twin (Debbie) one person--I see we were classmates in the early years--My sister used to keep in touch with Donna-but I haven't heard her mention Donna lately--I'll have to ask next time I speak with Debbie. Love all your photos-my sister Janet just lead me to this site. Thanks for the background music, I do remember that song now!! LOL
Sprung was actually our name first. Our mom decided we should have our step father's name (Bruskin) when she remarried in 1972. Steven and I both went back to Sprung as adults
How wonderful to discover this site and to hear from you. I have thought of you and your dog Satan many times over the years. Good ol' 136th street is indelibly imprinted in my memory and you are a significant part of that, along with Paul Miller and Craig Lopez. My mind is blown!
In the last 2 days I have just made the decision/ commitment to self-finance my first feature film as a director (I wrote the script a few years ago). We will shoot in December (soon!) on a verrry low budget. I make drama/comedy films. My primary interest is strong characters and good story: values I hope are making a come-back in Hollywood.
What are you up to?
Steven
In one of your discussions you mention your neighbor Alan Resnick. We lived on 136th St too - my brother Steven is in your year. Any idea what happened to Jennifer Joseph?
take care judy
