Sure, the annual early spring parade, I remember it well.
What amazes me, today's kids start hitting off a tee, move onto their coach's pitching and finally the players are allowed to 'enter the rotation.' Back when we were playing for QVAA, we were pitching from our very first year. I remember playing with the greats (Howard Stanger, the Siegel brothers et al) and getting our asses kicked whenever we battled Our Lady Of Hope.

Hi,

Of course I remember it. In fact I have a video (actually an 8mm movie transfered to DVD) of the parade from around 1961. I will try to dig it out and upload it to this site.

Mitch, I don't remember any parades but I do remember you coaching our team one year. I actually have motion pictures turned into video tape turned into dvd of me pitching during warmups before an inning with you catching. You were wearing a pretty outrageous hat while doing so.

elliot, you don't remember the parades? it was the greatest thrill to walk in the middle of main st and not having to worry about getting run over by a car.

Sure I do. I also remember your father Irv setting up the Little league magazine when I started. I think I still have two issues. I Royals was my first team.
