Hi Gordon--so nice to hear from you and your sister.  Such fond memories. So many people remember my dad from little league.  Unfortunately he passed away at 56.  But my mom is still here and wonderful as ever. I have such wonderful memories of being in the Mikado and HMS Pinafore.  Thanks for keeping in touch. Abby

Sorry it took a little while to get back to you.  I'm actually on vacation in Lewes DE, avery nice town near Cape Henlopen.  The strike zone that you mentioned in your note is essentially gone.  I think it was last painted on the wall by David Harris.  I don't know if you know that he died tragically in a boating accident in 1976 but I always think of him when I return home and I look at the backyard.  

I see that you got a graduate degree from Columbia.  I got my undergraduate degree there so I believe I was no longer at Columbia when you were there.  It's good to see that you are doing well.

It's nice to hear from you.  I haven't been in touch with people from the neighborhood.  My parents still live in the same house.  My mother always said she would never move and she seems set on keeping her word.  Of course I still get to go to 72nd Crescent to visit my parents.  It's a shame the way people built out into the back alley so it can't be used like we used to use it.

I'm a pediatrician and live in East Aurora, NY near Buffalo with my wife Sylvia.  I have 2 daughters and a granddaughter.  My sister Diane lives in Pasadena CA.  My brother Mark lives in Connecticut and my brother Edward lives in New Jersey.  I can still recite most of Patrick Henry's speech.
