- About Me:
- After Parson JHS, I went to Brooklyn Technical HS, and then a degree in Chemical Engineering from Pratt. Started work as an engineer at Colgate-Palmolive, got married and had 3 kids. While at Colgate I got an MBA and a JD - working as an accountant, controller, and after law school a patent attorney. After retiring from Colgate, I went on to being an assistant prosecutor and now a patent attorney for the U.S. Army. The kids have grown up and there are 3 grandkids and one on the way. Couldn't ask for more.

My God, you look the same! I've been in contact with Steve through this site. What has it been, 45 years or so? Howie tells me you two talked briefly a few years ago. Rick Hendra got in touch a few years ago through this site. Technology is something.
Our parents were so close, we truly lived in a community that was like a village! Nice to connect.
I always wanted to be a college professor (after I realized that center field in Yankee Stadium was out of the question), and actually lived my dream. Like you, I've been lucky in so many ways.

I didn't know about the JD.
I was with Citibank for 15 years, and over 12 with Bank of NY, all in IT, and currently "in transition". Since parting ways with BNY, I'm back out in the NY tech world, going to various evening meetings, learning about things, and planning to get training this fall towards my PMP certificate.
What does a patent attorney for the Army do? ( I have a vague comprehension of patent attorney funcitons for regualr companies, but clueless as to what that might mean for a gov't agency, let alone the military.)
