Hi Joel. We were both on the top row of our sixth grade photo. You always had a charming smile. I'm still the same height as then, 5'2, with 2 boys ages 20 and 38 and a granddaughter age 3. Live in park slope in Brooklyn with my husband and youngest while he's home from bu for the summer. Will always remember the unfortunate incident with Elaine (I think) Silber and Danny Perlman. Hope all is well.

Joel, I don't know if you remember me. My sister, Jane, told me about the website and your name is very familiar. I think I remember you as tall, dark hair and you were a hall monitor?? I recall the white plastic crossover thingy with the badge (don't know how else to describe it). Was this you??

How have you been. Think the last time I saw you we bumped into to you on the NYS Thruway years ago. Living in Douglaston and working in NYC. Bumped into Parrish at a few Dead shows (obviously before Jerry died) and hung out with him back stage and up in Novato, CA. My sister just told me about this web site. Hi Joel: Wouldn't it be fun to put together a "courtyard" reunion. You, Debbie, Meryl, Elliot, Andy and Larry Rothenberg, my brother, me, etc? I'm living in NYC and my brother is in NJ. I was class of '64 (so I just turned 56). We just sold my folks house in Great Neck, where I grew up. My father moved into the city when my mother died last year. I have one son, 21, and 2 step daughters (married with little ones). Life has been good and I am very blessed. Stay in touch!

I lived in the courtyard across from you. How I remember this I do not know, but we have the same birthday (7-29). I think I remember your family moved to Roslyn. Your mother (sadly) was the first person I ever knew who died. I think you have a younger sister Debbie. I remember your father Sy was a CPA (I think). Wow. Just joined. Small world. Hi. Well then congratulations on two wonderful occasions. If my math is right you are 58 (which makes me almost 59). What wonderful news about your son. My daughter is in her 3rd year and just started her surgical rotations. I'm still in awe. It's a tough road, but worth it. Hope you and Barbara are well. Give my best to Debra. i fear you found my twilight zone comment obnoxious. I didnt mean it that way. its true that I wondered what became of you but I dont really remember us playing stick ball and touch as much as I distintly remember the other guys I mentioned in my last obnoxious comment. but i'm sure we were in the same class more than once. and then on to parsons. so did you play with mitch schorr and didnt you live in the apartments toward park drive east?

what is this the twilight zone? danny perlman. lived 4 houses from big steve and next to the school. we played at the park with jack miller, steve shames, paul steinberg, mitch schorr, mory levy and others like the Murphy brothers and Fumio, what grade did you move away?
