Hey Lucie Evens,(Wow that's weird) to me you will always be Mrs Evens.Don't know if you remember me,Edwin Gonzalez Jr.You had a very close relationship with my parents w/ all the phone calls you made to them every time I acted up,witch was a lot,sorry.lol.But I loved you and the way you taught all the same.You were great and I know you are still great.I still remember the last day of our 4th grade class.You gave me the biggest hug goodbye for the summer.It felt all warm and cozy just like home.Thank you for being one of the greats.Hope all is well,and hope to hear back from you.

My lord...my absolute favorite, most inspiring teacher of my entire scholastic life!!! Please say you remember me! Mrs Evens I have never stopped wondering about how you're doing! Just incase it's a little fuzzy for you, allow me to take you back...You taught me in the 4th grade. 85-86ish I was the skinny gap toothed short little girl who looooved to sing...(and talk) A LOT! little miss chatter box! very involved with Glee club and oh did I mention talking! haha...I remember looking up to you and wishing sometimes that you were my mom! You have such an amazing gift, I am so happy to know that you continue to share that gift with children today. You had an amazing impact on my life, thank you for all you've done!!!!!!! I have a little boy (10) and his name is Joshua too! I'm married and pregnant with my 2nd little boy, due in march. I work in Florida in the timeshare industry. I still love to sing but I'm not as good at it as I once was! haha. I remember you're husband too, he used to help you out from time to time in class. I remember he helped us make these sand blown glass ornaments for our parents one time. Never was there a doubt that you two would be together forever! OMG..... Mrs. Evans... What a great surprise it is to see you again! There's been so many time I've have to talk about the great times I've had in school growing up and I always wondered if I would have ever seen you again and wow.. here we are. I live in Japan right now and I don't think I'll be about to just make it over there for the reunion and all but maybe I can make it backstate side some time soon. God Bless....

So sorry tohear about Mark. You sure have a full plate. Mazel Tov grandma to be. Go for that meeting and get the ball rolling. Retirement is a great thing but grandmahood is even better. Hi Mrs Evens!!! You were my teacher in 3rd grade, around 86' and I loved you. I remember singing in the Glee Club and the "Glee Club Song". You were the best!
