I married very young; practically right out of high school. A bad marriage that ended in 1989, gave me two great kids but lots of baggage to boot. My son Jonathan is now 31 and my daughter Rachel is 26. Can you believe it? I did remarry a great guy not too long ago. I work at a large community college in their administrative offices. It is a great environment and I have been there over 23 years.
I loved finding out about this website. It is truly nostalgic and it makes me long for those days when life was so easy and safe. My parents died young [according to today’s standards] and my orphan years were spent not too far outside of New York. I am just over the George Washington Bridge in Bergen County in a town named Saddle Brook. My sisters still live in Queens and I venture out there on occasion to visit the old neighborhood.
Do you hear from anyone? This is so much fun connecting with our 'old' classmates. I believe we were a very creative group of kids with lots of special talents. We received a great education in the public schools of New York. I wish my kids had that kind of education. It does not even come close and we pay so much money in taxes!
I remember your mom. She was always so nice to me when I would come over to your house. I also recall you had two handsome older brothers.
I would love to hear from you again. Keep in touch.
Best, R
