- I graduated from 164 in 1959 and then attended parsons and then jamaica H.S. I spent 33 years in the New York City School System and retired as a Dean of Students in 2003. I am married and have a son who is finishing Graduate School this year. I just found this website and would love to hear from old friends.

So what's Barbara been doing with herself? Hope she's been well. I was sweet on her for years before we all got sent to different middle schools, and remember I used to walk by your house a lot, hoping to run into her. Never did. And I was such a shy dork I would have probably just hurried by anyway.
Sorry it's taken so long to respond. Somehow life gets busier when we're retired! I retired from the music business in 2001. I'm glad your Mom is doing well. My folks and I discussed (for several years) moving them. But the reality of it was too stressful for them to agree to. In the long run, everything worked out best for them. It's sad to see the old neighborhood and what's become of it. I don't expect to visit it although my brother, Pete, will be going there for the holidays. He'll be staying with Jeffrey Salgo, who moved back into his parents house after their death. His house is the one closest to the park. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday and all the best for the New Year.
