I remember the event Helen wrote about. Was that when we sang the song from "Hair" in part english and part french?

What I remember from Mrs. Beman's french class is reading lots of stories about Tristian and Tristan. Also, spending time in the back of her room painting pictures on an easel.

YES! That's right! The Tristan stories. They were soldiers, weren't they? I still have 2 paintings that I made in Mrs. Berman's class. PS--Are you related to Bud Gans?

I don't recall the "Paris, reine du monde" song but, YES!, Sur le Pont I recall singing. I think we even sang it in Mrs. Alexander's class, but inEnglish. (Do you remember it in English? On the bridge of D'Avignon, They are dancing, they are dancing....something like that?) Anyway, I think Mrs. Berman's French lyrics were something like (and don't quote me because my French isn't any good!): "Sur le pont ,D'Avignon, Lorni danc-e, Lorni danc-e; Sur le pont, D'Avignon, Lorni danc-e toute en ronde." As for the Aquarius song, Howard Goldman started to type the words: "Quand la lune..." I can think of a bunch of other words, but not necessarily complete sentences. Can you or anyone out there help me to fill in the blanks (the na-na-na's)??

Did you see Claire's blurb about the song-in-the-round (Bon soir tous a la ronde)? I had totally forgotten about that one! And someone else wrote in about the French books on Tristan. This website it great! My family keeps asking me why I'm grinning!

Hey Janet.

Somehow reminiscing about our past, our very early past, is far better than reading client emails. I too, prefer going to this site over answering client queries.
