When I was in the 6th grade I had my first crush on Raymond Johnson, a fellow 6th grader. I remember thinking he was the cutest boy in the whole school :-)

In second grade, most of the girls in my class were head over heels over Jerry Cohen. Even Mrs. Riccio knew about it! But my eyes were only on Teddy Nikolis. He was my very first crush!
However, in 3rd grade, Susan Rosenberg declared she liked Teddy too. (I believe Jerry was popular in 3rd grade too.) Oh my gosh, a rival!!! But we got along and talked about Teddy a lot. Susan hasn't signed up yet...I hope she will find this site and sign up soon.
As for Teddy, thanks to Patricia and this site, I have reconnected with him as well as my classmates from the class of '66.

Thanks for the cute response. Amazing what we can remember. Still hoping someone knows about Walter. I am the eternal optimist and life's turned out just fine....but I still remember.....sigh....

My 2nd grade boyfriend, Larry Schulman, was adorable. And he still is, we reconnected a few years ago through a mutual friend. And lo and behold, we don't live far from one another. He actually works in the Hospital real close to my home. Boy how funny life is. We graduated in 1963. Some memories you never forget.

Hi From Vickie Baird; I am listed under the name Victoria Baird I think. Anyway, are you kidding me? I knew him really well. WE hung out at the PS164 park all the time.Everyday he would ask to take me up on the swing, but I knew he would go all the way over the bar so I said no. Long story short, I finally saidyes, and ofcourse he took me OVER the bar. I was a reallyy good athlete, but scared me! Then he would always get his friends to hold me , and make me watch while he turned his eyelids inside out! The last I remember of him is when I went to Cambells, and I would see him hanging out at the candy store that is closest to Cambells, but across the street.I hope he is OK. I have no clue where is?

Thanks for the great story...I'm still laughing. Truly, I'm not nuts and very happily married, I just think of him from time to time. I actually sent an email a few years ago to Joey, his brother, who was easier to locate. Walter may be in Alaska....I'm not really sure. Let me know if you hear of him....we can check out if he's still cute and if he still turns his eyelids inside out.-ronni

Hi! One of my favorite thns s to make people laugh!!!! I was a real tomboy, and could keep up with Walter with just about all of his JD antics.But, if he is in Alska , from what I have heard from very releiable sources;most people out there are alco's. Ofcourse i pray this is not the case for him. I remember his brother was about 4 years younger I think. So was my sister. He was always trying to to tell him to get lost, just like I did with my sister........Any, what class were you? I am not PC savvy, and mine just started to work agai after about 8 mths. Think we knew each each other? Hope to hear from you.

Walter moved to Alaska WAY BACK WHEN the OIL PIPE LINE was good work...He actually was in the Iditarod race a couple of times....Hard to believe but true. Another guy also went, Vinnie Volpe for those that might have remembered him.
I was friends with his little bro Joey. I just looked it up on Walter in the dog race...79, 80 and 83....sheesh, i feel old now
