Hi Bonnie,
I just got an email saying they were closing this site and came to see what I was missing and found you and Barbara! I live in LA and my son (with his 14mo TWIN sons) and mother-in-law are in Berkeley so we go to visit occasionally. My significant other of 40 yrs is a book freak - I bet he'd love to meet you so don't be surprised if we pop into your store one day. I became a veterinarian but am now semi retired and only doing home euthanasia. So sorry you lost your hubby - you're way to young and he presumably was too. I'll look for you on FB - I'm there as Madeline Madi Rosenfeld Graham
It's so great to hear from you! I very well remember you and Barbara and somewhere have a photo of you in a Thai outfit singing in The King and I. Those were the days! I actually did not go on to accomplish great things, except as a young adult. I do marvel at my classmates' accomplishments, however, from PS 164 to Jamaica High School. Such precious days!
I must say you look almost exactly the same in your photo, only prettier! It sounds as if you've made a very meaningful life for yourself on the other coast. I'm sorry to hear that you lost your husband, though. I love the idea of a mini reunion and really hope we can do it. If you speak or communicate with Gil sooner than I do, please tell him I will write back soon. I get a bit wistful when I think of those beautifully innocent years.
My Warm Regards to you and Barbara,
Dottie
