I absolutely do remember you very well. You were in one of my classes, perhaps 4th grade with Mrs. Rosenberg or 5th with Mr. Edelson. You were one of the nicer, more reasonable boys and you were very articulate, even then. I'm happy for you that you've taken your career and passion for news journalism so far. I accessed your radio website ... very, very wonderful and I'm so impressed with your accomplishments. You were right. That was my album with a very short lived career and a very long story attached! I live in Connecticut with a male companion for many years. I was once married to a priest and have a 33 year-old son with autism. He is the light of my life.
So you live in San Francisco. What a gorgeous city with a beautiful way of life! My dear old friend Ida Lewis from our alma mater had been living there for years. She still lives in the area, in Petaluma. We reunited several years ago and have been in touch and seeing one another when possible ever since. William Scheckter is or was the Chief of Surgery at San Francisco General Hospital. So, you're not alone!!!
I must say that I've heard your name many times over the years and do believe once long ago, I thought you might be the Gilbert Gross from 164. I am so glad you decided to contact me. Thank you for remembering. Please feel free to keep in touch.
One of your old school chums,
Dottie (Dorothy)
PS Was it Mrs. Feldman's class??!!
