Hey Lon, it sounds like the reunion was a success, I saw your photos, OMG, Angelo's, how I remember the great pizza on Main St. I haven't been back in such a long time. I loved the photo of the three of you, you all look great, see we're not that old!!

Lots of wonderful memories of Main Street as I too lived around the corner (tho I'm older than you). Your foto of Goody's reminded me of great egg creams, malteds, and hanging out,hanging out, hanging out! Where did you live? Also, I saw some reference on your comments to Flamingo Beach Club, where our family had a great time in early 60s! Does it still exist??? Jane Siegel

Someone recently asked me what my highlight of the reunion was and I would most certainly say 'seeing the reactions on our friends' faces as they embraced alumni not seen in close to 30 years.'

That's a great idea. I'll wear my pin too. (I don't have the Blue Beret pin but the PS 164 Queens GO pin that I used for the banner on this site.) I'll bet we'll be the only 2 at the reunion to have them. Real antiques! :-)

Hi Lon! Than you for writing! First I would just like to say tat from my knowledge 1 out a million people get into Cooper! Congrats n that evev though it seema whle ago. Aso those Flamingo beach club pictures. Mu Jewish Mother MADE me do it. I was the biggest tombor ever, and she did every guilt trip to make me do it! She even lied about my age. I was 12 yrs old. The other girls were 15-16-17. I walked out last. All my freinds were ranking me out.Anywayway,I win the thing.All the girls hate my guts, like I caee. But here is the funniest part; I had to walk around the whole pool alone after I won. I am wearing my Mom's high heels which are stuffed with cotton, because they are too big [plus I never walked in high heels in my life] One od the heels gets stuck in a steel pool drain as I am walking around the pook, and I land on both of my knees, scraping them with lots of blood running down! It as hysterical. They fixed up my knees long enough to take the winning picture. Theother picture was before the contest. Diane found all of this stuff at my Mom's house, and scanned it on to my page........Anyway I have two sons17&18, and my daughter 27 who is an Rn at Sloan Kettering. It sounds like you gus have a beuatful life. I am envous.....Diane is a great sister ...Hope to hear from you again
