About Me:: Went on to Parsons JHS, brief stint at Jamaica HS, then to John Bowne HS (where I reunited with many 164 alumni), then to Queens College. Lived in NJ for 14 years then returned to LI - Bayville, Glen Cove, Locust Valley, settled in Baldwin. Started in personal lines insurance for 10 years, had years at various jobs (air & ground fleet leasing, private carting, and others), settled into 20-year career in advertising; last 8 years directed my own biz. Looking for a change, I attended school in Medical Assisting and now a CMA working for internist in Bellmore and having a blast. Married for 14 years (2nd marriage) to a great guy who works in public housing. No kids, except 2 fuzzy ones, cats named China & Aja. Glad to discover this great site via my close friend, Helene, whom I met at PS 164, and can't believe I have known her since we were just 9 years old! And just found best childhood friend, Shelley, on this site... after many decades!!

I'm not so much counter-culture now, though I am the only parent that can speak with authority with my daughter's friends about old-school rap. I've sold out and joined the establishment, as you can obviously see from the picture, with some regrets. But life has been good. This site is certainly a hoot.
