Hi Scott,
I was glad to see your profile on this website.....hopefully you remember me. We were in at least a couple of classes together in 164, although I have not seen or spoken to you since 1963 ( I remember you as Russell, not Scott). I have only the fondest of memories growing up in Kew Garden Hills and attending 164. I'm currently living in Bayside (I have been divorced for many years), and still visit my mother in Kew Garden Hills where I grew up. There are times when I just have to drive by 164, and I am flooded with good memories. Anyway, I am glad you seem to be doing well in Las Vegas (if I am ever out your way, I will let you know....maybe we can hook up). Take care and keep in touch. Mark

Jeff has been a clearinghouse for neighborhood info. and is in touch with lots of guys. Last spring Rik Ginsberg organized a small reunion in nyc and they had a good turnout. Some Parsons people and Schorr even came. I lived in Aspen, Colorado for 27 years and after my wife braved the cold for 10 years we moved to Napa, Ca.. I've been here for 3 yrs now. By the way do you think Larry Stone gave his kids a $5 candy allowance each week like his dad gave him? Lotsa stories fly when there's a get together. I'm still in close touch with Barry Herskowitz who is living in Santa Fe, remember him? Life's been pretty good otherwise.

Scott, Jeff Schwartz here. Throghout the years those of us in NYC would ask if anyone had info that you were living in Vegas all these years. I still speak to mitch schorr, Rick Ginsberg, Don Reichman etc. I live in new jersey, been married 28 years, a daughter wjho is 23 anda son ,20. i work in the NYC for the federal gov't. According to the official maven of local knowledge, Schorr, you and Larry Stone still hold the longest scoreless stickball game [16 innings?] in Queens history.

Scottie boy. So, what do you think, Big Brown? Good seeing you a few weeks ago. Did you check out the picture Warren told you about, which of course I told him? I just put this here because I know he will look at it, right Berger? Anyway, I never would have recognized Mitch. To win?

hi scott - great to hear from you. Is the answer "put on a coat?" can't believe you have not been back in 30 years. you would not believe the city. 42nd street looks more like the vegas strip/disneyworld than the mid-town we grew up with. i remember your block - larry stone, jeffrey ettinger and - this is odd - sunflower seeds. again, i best remember when thinking about you - your ability as a shortstop. very smooth fielder at a key position.

hey, saw the pictures from harris. you look wonderful. also, saw the Peter Pan from Belmont last Saturday. I know Big Brown is a great horse, but Casino Drive looked incredible. Know 2 different fields and talent of horses, so I am still rooting for Big Brown. Just that Casino Drive looked like Forego.
