Hi Bob (i used to call you Robert)--I've never done this before but this site seems very interesting. Do you remember being in the Mikado and HMS Pinafore with me? We would rehearse at your house with your mom playing the piano. Well I ended up marrying a Robert who I met doing Fiddler on the Roof at Hofstra--he's a teacher but plays the piano, sings and acts. I am a Chiropractor on Long Island with two children--30 and 23 and a grandson. Abby

Bob: Are you the son of the Mrs.Farkas who used to play the piano for the
Glee club performances? It seems likely, since people are writing about your mother giving piano lessons. Do you know anything about Mrs. Bromberg-the Glee club teacher? And is your mother still living? She was wonderful-patient and friendly to everyone, as I recall.
Peter Salgo was in my med school class, and we used to perform together--the P&S club sponsored shows. If you see Peter, ask him if he remembers singing "Hail, Poetry" to the lions at the Bronx Zoo.

I just recently heard about this site. I remember your family well. I have many fond memories of your family. I loved playing at your house with Kathy and especially remember joining in on touch football games with you and the Salgos. I loved the days of piano lessons with your mom and I remember that your dad worked for CBS. I'm living on Long Island. I'm married and have two daughters who are 22 and 26 years old. Time has certainly flown by. Best regards

Hi there Bob---I remember your mom, she was my piano teacher for quite a few years. I also remember your dad, if I remember correctly, did he work for CBS???? or some major media corporation...I also remember the piano was not exactly in your livingroom...was it a den or diningroom...anyway, a great memory, now I am a Kindergarten teacher, and I play the piano/and keyboard for my little ones!!!!!!take care, CINDY

Hi Bob, i too am enjoying this site. i recently went out with robert herzlick. he's doing well. did u know him? he talked a lot about all the great shows your mother put on. he thought kathy always got the lead. i am so glad the schiff's joined. i remember how they always hung around your house.did you see the mention of your cousins, the salgo's ,on 164 ballplayer's and how they used to break your aunt's windows?
