Jay: I didn't know you; I graduated in 1959, but I had Mrs. Bromberg for two years, which was wonderful. She did the same thing Mrs. Rosenberg did--played opera recordings as background while we worked on math problems, or other quiet work. She was wonderful, and she clearly had a close relationship with Sophie Rosenberg, who, unfortunately, was never my teacher. While I was at 164, they had a weekly subscription to the Metropolitan Opera; we often would hear the next day about the previous evening's performance. Music is also, and always was, a big part of my life; I was in the Glee club performances, in my last three years, "57-59.

Jay, Great to hear from you after all this time! Last I heard you were teaching music in New Paltz. Sounds like that was true. I am well and living in Detroit for 31 years now. We are practically neighbors. I have stayed in contact with Bob Farkas and Larry Rothenberg all these years and saw them last at my son's Bar Mitzvah a year ago. I haven't seen Eric or Arvin for years but know Eric is a psychiatrist in Princeton, N.J. and Arvin is a psychiatrist near San Diego. The red headed kid was Matt Rael. Last I heard (and it was many years ago) he was playing in a Reggae band in Vancouver. I can't tell you anything about Steve Resnick. I have also managed to stay in touch with Paul Stanley (Stanley Eisen) and been to many Kiss concerts. Maybe we should have a band reunion - you, me, Eric, Arvin and Stan. I still have my 1965 Fender guitar!

I do remember your family, but as I get older, and my memory fades, and don't remember the individuals all that well. The winter trips to TMR were always a blast, and loved how our parents catered to us as we enjoyed all the outdoors could offer.
