- After 164, I went to Parsons and then Bowne. I did my undergrad at the U of P (Wharton) and grad school at Pace in managerial accounting. My expertise is in not-for-profits.
I lived in Manhattan until 1982 when I married the former Michelle Demel of Whitestone, now an attorney in Forest Hills. Michelle and I have an 18 year old son, Ryan, who is graduating from Solomon Schechter HS this year and will then be off to college. Home is a co-op in Hollis Hills; I serve as a trustee on my co-op board as well as with the Hollis Hills JC. I also sing with the HHJC choir.
After working as controller for several social service agencies and a small college in NYC, I have been the Business Manager of the Great Neck Library for the last 12 years.

Got to walk around the neighborhood only to find that both yours and my houses were torn down and fenced in for now. That was very sad.
Have you had a chance to visit the neighborhood?

Only just found the site..
Weird memories pop up: I remember you having quite the sledding mishap on Suicide Hill. I lived on 77th Ave just across from the corner of 164 & was over to your home a couple of times with Jay Sessler (maybe 3rd or 4th grade?) Got a kick out of reading your bio.
I emailed Patricia telling her I am coming...So I guess I better start making my travel arrangements. Feel like I am jumping off a cliff or something because I have not traveled on my own for a long time now...I see below me that Jeffery may be coming. Hope you decide to come too!

I RSVP'ed as not going but part of me still wants to go...and am starting to reconsider. My husband won't be able to go, but am thinking maybe I should go...Let me know where you stand on this.

I had completely forgotten about the short cut from 137th st to your street. Did we take that short cut to go to each other's house? Gosh, I wish I could remember more about those days.
