How old is your child? I have 2 children, Stephanie is 21 and Andrew is 13.
I have been married 25 years and I live in NJ. I am a CPA and have been in
public accounting my entire career.
I do remember having Mrs Schmidt but I am not sure of the other teachers. I will have to pull out my old pictures to remember the others.
How was the reunion? It must have been alot of fun.
so nice to hear from you. You look exactly the same!! I moved to Long Island 2o yrs ago. Have 3 daughters ages 21, 17 & 13. My husband Tom passed away in 2003 from a long battle with cancer. I got re married 7 mos ago to a nice Brooklyn Boy! we now live in the 5 towns. My dad passed away suddenly a year ago. My mom is still in the same apartment. My brother is married (2nd time) and has a son 5 and a daughter 4mos. he lives in Northport. Skytypes on weekends and flies for American. did u see Peter on this site? Haven't seen the schnieders. Are you still in touch with the Finkelsteins?
That's me in the photo with Diane and Bart at the reunion. Wait, I don't look exactly the same after 40 years?!? I need to have a word with my plastic surgeon! It was a fun night. Lots of memories and laughter.

I would love to hear more about what you remember about Mr. Lohr and other stuff. One day I wrote in my diary from fourth grade that he was going to be taking movies of the class the next day. I told Mr. Lohr's grandson and he is going to see if anyone can locate the old movies. A lot of people talked about Mrs. Farkas, music and glee club at the reunion. When you have a chance, please accept my friend invitation or send me your e-mail address.
Glad you enjoyed the picture. We were in 5th grade together as well but I can't remember 6th. I came to 164 in 2nd grade and am fuzzy on my teachers. I remember Mr. Lohr very well. He was quite a presence. Diane Baird has an old photo of him on her page given to her by his grandson who she happened to meet a month or so ago. The other two class photos on my page were given to me by a friend and I am not in them. I am in touch with Peter via email. How is he doing? He looks great.
The reunion was fun. A step back in time. The school looks exactly as I remembered it. Just smaller! I will post a few photos on my page here in the next few days. I sent you a message via Facebook but I think my computer crashed and it was never sent. Are you still in Media buying? All is well here. Been out of Queens for many years. Live in a very rural setting. Always culture shock when I go back to the old neighborhood which isn't too often. No more family there anymore.
All the best,
Lon
I won't ask if you remember me cause I know you do!! LOL. I was hoping you or your brother would show up on this site. How have you been?
My uncle Tom did very well with us here in upstate NY. He lived here for 25 years and died in 2007 at age 82. Check out his obituary on this page:

My grandmother and I laughed many times over the years about a happening with her washing machine. Something happened with the hose and instead of the water going out where it was supposed to, it was going all over her kitchen floor, which unfortunately was your ceiling. I think you called while we were mopping up the floor saying there was water coming down your walls. :-)
I was down to the old neighborhood this weekend for the first time since Nana moved upstate ('82). It was great to see the old place again. The 164 reunion was awesome!!!!!!
I remember your brother Jay and hope he is doing well.
We live 4 hours north of Flushing in a small town called Duanesburg (about 30 mins from Albany.) It is a beautiful part of upstate. I have more pix in my flickr album:
