I am doing OK. I am still with the same bank but we had to srit and merge with 3 other domestic finacial institutions last October. So I have been kept quite busy for last year or two.
What do you mean that you got hurt? Were you injured by an accident.
My family is doing OK. Mom has been visiting Yumiko who lives in LA for last 15 years or so. She will become 88 this April. My daughter is 28 and is teaching at girls junior high and high school. Still single which is a problem. I would like to be a grandpa like you.
I have not been to US for a quite a while. I have been travelling to other parts of the world except for Americas, but will try to visit NY after April. Iwill drop in to the reunion if I am in the city.
Best regards to your wife and your family.
Fumio
Actually, Edelson sounds really familiar for 5th grade. I am not in touch with anyone from 164 which is why I would like to go to reunion and see what people are up to. My niece and nephew went to 164 which is how I found out about the site.
Nice hearing from you-come to the reunion
I'm pretty sure that you were in my class-6-2 with Ms. Giordano
I stayed local-not like you. I went to Queens College after graduating from Jamaica HS. I worked for the federal government for 15 years before becoming a commercial real estate broker. Lucky you-you're retired.
Anyway, I plan to go to the reunion-don't let me be the only one from the 1960 class
Best,
Elise Cooperman (now Muchnick)
And welcome to the site!
This is Fumio's kid sister, Yumiko.
I remember very well how you and Fred used to hang out in our basement with Fumio....you guys were BAD!!! And yes, I used to be a pest wanting to hang out with you guys. Fun days though...Hope all is well with you and your family.
You must mention that you were a mayor of the town. I think that you may be the only graduate to have become a mayor and Joe MLB player.
It seems that I am the only one who is still working more than 12 hours a day. I love to retire and enjoy fishing and travelling for a holiday to US.
