Elise, Did you attend the reunion? How did it feel to be back at old PS 164? I used to go there sometimes with my Mom to vote and the voting booths were set up in the cafeteria and it seemed a lot smaller than I remembered when we attended. Hope everyone had a good time.

I haven't focus on the picture to find myself. I don't plan on flying back for the reunion, much as I could use a trip to NY. Haven't been there since November.

good to hear from you. I have been in touch with Marty, Joe,Fred Zelinger, Denis and Andy Rothemburg. I have actually met Joe, Marty and Fred after I returned Japan. I met Fred around 5 years ago. I work for a government bank like Export-Import Bank in US. I have been working there for since I graduated from university.
yes it is fun to finding out what your classmates are doing after all these years. I hope that more could join and get together. You are the only girl who has joined this circle. Do you know anyone else?

I'm in the top row, fourth from the right. You got me looking at my old autograph book and you signed mine "Don't make love by the garden gate, love is blind, but the neighbors ain't". Who knew what making love meant? I don't think I did. I guess the old axiom must be true, girls do mature faster than boys. I've been involved in engineering for the past 20 years with the State Dept of Transportation. Don't you have an older brother who was also friends with Lenny Mandel on my block? His family was very close with mine.
It's great to connect with old friends who share a common background.

Hi Elise,
I remember the name but I was in Mr. Goldmacher's class, but we were a smell class and I think we new everbody. I had Mr. Edelson for 5th and Mrs Rosenbers for 4th and Sondike for #rd. Long time ago but I have fond memories. Do you keep in touch with anyone. I still am in contact with Fumio Hoshi and Joe Bucharri. Other then that I see no body from 164. I have not decided about the reunion yet as I am in the middle of planning a reunion from my camping days. I probably will as I am a softie for these things.

Elise, I wasn't sure because you are listed in the 1965 class. The last time I saw you was when you were walking down my street and you told me about being on Jeopardy. What's that, about 40 years ago? I was in NY this past June 08 for the first time in about 25 years. It was extremely hot that week. Had a great time staying in lower Manhattan and seeing the sights that we typically never saw growing up in Kew Garden Hills. So far, I'm not planning on going to the reunion. There aren't too many from our class registered and no one for the reunion. Hopefully, more will find it. I'm glad you did.
