Hi Andy!
Sorry for the late reply.
Yes those were the days...trying to hang out with everyone where, in the eyes of a 6 year old, all the fun was. Were you one of the guys who taught me how to dance? I remember learning the mashed potato in the basement and probably the twist too...and desperately trying to stay longer and hang out with you all.
It has been nice to find my old classmates and neighbors (Rona and Dorothy) on this site and making new connections too. I had a chance to walk around the old neighborhood when I attended the reunion, but sadly our house with that basement was gone. So was Neil Zitofsky's. It was sad.
I see you and your brother both live out here on the west coast. I moved to LA in '91. It's not like our old neighborhood where you can go out and find kids and play till dinner time...but I guess that was a different era.
P.S. 164 days were golden!

And....I think I heard you work/worked for SAIC. Yes? No?
I have been doing work for their MBA program for 5 years.
Will be down there this week. Small world.
Andrew,
Just saw your posting and was like, OMG. So good to hear from and about you. Sounds like life has been good to you - that's wonderful. I live in McLean so if you're ever in the area please call. I got a chance to meet with Ronni Birnbaum a while back when she was in town. Glad to hear that your mom is still doing well. She and I were actually in a grad class together at Queens in 1971. I have two children, my daughter is 27, married and is a 2nd year pediatric resident at Dupont Children's in Wilmington, DE and my son is 26 and works with my husband in business. I'm a special ed department chair. Elliot owns his own accounting firm in NY. He was with Arthur Young for a while when he started out. It's late so that's it for now. Happy Thanksgiving.

Were you in class 6-2? If so, where are you in the photo that's posted on this site.
I'm in the top row, right end.
I've been living in Manhattan since 1970, worked for the federal government and then as a commercial real estate broker.
Are you coming in for the reunion.? I don't want to be the only oldie from the 1960 class
O and to Ronnie just below, I always recite the Emma Lazarus poem when I'm near the statue of Liberty. Give me your tired...
"When my eyes shall be turned for the last time the sun in heaven, may i not see him shining on a broken and discordant union. On states..................etc. How amazing that we can recall the speeches. I think they came over the loudspeaker and we were tested on memorizing them.
I was just reading Meryl Levine's site and noticed that you work for SAIC. As part of my work at the University of Maryland, I do a lot of teaching for them in McLean. What a small world. Isn't Larry your brother? I think we lived right near you in the courtyard...you were in the corner, I was at 78-09 Park Drive East.
